Louis Nforbelie Ngwa
Louis Nforbelie Ngwa is an environmentalist and a social entrepreneur with a keen interest in development initiatives that foster human capital and capacity building. Mr. Ngwa is a social entrepreneur with a focus on education and community development which has driven him to invest in basic education in Cameroon as well as being a core member of charitable organizations which form part of Pinnacle Group PLC (www.pinnacle.cm) where he is the Managing Director.
Mr. Ngwa has 20 years of extensive experience managing environmental performance and social sustainability issues for major civil infrastructure projects throughout the world. Mr. Ngwa’s core strength relates to his ability to assemble and coordinate a team of sound minds to achieve set outcomes. He is experienced in environmental and social risks and impacts identification, analysis and proposal of mitigation. Mr. Ngwa’s years of experience within a multidisciplinary and multicultural infrastructure developments around the world has equipped him with excellent project management skills.
During his 20 years’ experience Mr. Ngwa coordinated the collection of baseline data and writing of pre-construction survey reports for the Chad Cameroon pipeline project, the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey pipeline projects and the Sakhalin pipeline projects in Russia; the Ambatovy mining project in Madagascar, the PNG-LNG project in Papua New Guinea and the South Caucasus Pipeline expansion project (SCPX) project in Azerbaijan and Georgia. Mr. Ngwa is currently engaged as a short-term environmental consultant (STC) for the World bank for Central and West Africa business units.
Mr. Ngwa is currently a PhD fellow at the LaBosystE of the University of Yaounde 1. He has a MSc in Botany/Ecology and a BSc in Plant Biology.
